Dacorum - Alcohol test purchasing

Dear Residents

Recently Hertfordshire Police with the polices Licencing officer and Dacorum Borough Trading Standards carried out a test purchasing operation in Hemel Hempstead and Tring. 

The operation is designed to test licenced premises owners and staff to if they would sell alcohol or vapes to underage children. Dacorum Police Cadets supported the operation by going into the shops and attempting to buy these items.  I am pleased to say that all the shops that were tested passed and challenged the cadets on their age and refused to sell alcohol or vapes.

These operations are carried out on a regular basis this time they all passed and we hope this continues in the future.
